RADical Days

The Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD) exists to support our local cultural assets.  Once a year they fund RADical days to thank the community with complimentary admission to area institutions.

CMU Celebrates 25 years of the Literary & Cultural Studies Program
Join 7 successful alumni to hear them discuss how they use cultural studies in their daily work lives at the panel discussion, “Cultural Studies and Real Life”.

Park[ing] Day
Participate or just observe at this annual one-day event where artists, designers and citizens alike take over city-wide parking spaces and reimagine them as public parks.

Wholey’s 100th Anniversary 9/21-23
Three days of family-fun activities to celebrate Wholey’s contributions to Pittsburgh for the past 100 years!!  Live music, carnival activities, cooking demos, a blue pony, and of course – free samples.  Saturday at noon there will be a parade in the Strip from 21st Street to 17th Street and then 17th will be renamed “Wholey Way” by our Mayor.
